Pathways To Apprenticeship

PRE-APPRENTICESHIP INFO SESSION

P2A will be hosting our next 5 week Direct Entry Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship class. This class is targeted for NYC residents. The qualification requirements for this class are:

  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC

  • 18 years or older

  • NYC resident

  • Physical capacity for construction work

  • Drug free

In order to apply for this class, you must:

Step 2. Attend one of the in-person P2A info sessions. Info sessions will be held at :

If you do not have a computer to complete the Step 1 registration please let us know at the info session and we will help you.

Direct Entry Information Sessions

P2A works directly with community partners and organizations such as Workforce One, Osborne Association, and The Fortune Society. Our partnership allows us to provide training free of cost to re-entry justice-involved and low-income communities. Throughout the year we will provide these trainings by way of an interview selection process.


If you are interested in an opportunity to apply through Workforce One, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the button below to voice your interest in our info sessions by completing a Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Interest Form.

  2. After completing the form, you will receive a call or email from a Workforce One partner within 7 business days.

  3. After completing an over-the-phone assessment with Workforce One you will be contacted by P2A for an upcoming info session. When info sessions and classes are available they will be posted on the website.
